Kraras Hall Policies and Procedures

Rental Information

Rental price is based on the date and time of your affair. Kraras Hall is available for eight hours the day of your event. You may choose to extend your time for an additional fee.

Pricing, Deposits and Payment

Our pricing is based on your event, the date, and the number of guests. Please call or email our office to discuss pricing or to arrange a personal meeting and/or tour of our facilities. Final pricing is guaranteed within 60 days of the event. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold your date. Prepayment is required unless other arrangements have agreed upon.

There is an additional fee if your group attendance falls below 100 adults.

Attendance and Final Count

For Weddings and other large events, final count and payment for your affair is needed two weeks prior to your date. For smaller events, you may give us your final count one week prior to your event. Final invoicing will reflect this guarantee or the actual attendance whichever is greater.

Children

A special menu can be designed for Children at your event. If you are serving the children the same meal as the adults you will receive a 25% discount.

Sales Tax:

6% PA Sales Tax will be added to the total bill.

Bar Service

If you choose to have alcohol at your affair, it may be brought in at no additional cost. This offers a substantial savings for your event. We will supply all the necessary mixers, toppers and bartenders.

To order beer, contact South Mountain Beer Distributor at 610-678-8001 and tell them you need the beer delivered to one of Konopelski Katering’s facilities. The Beer Company will deliver and setup your beer prior to your event. You will receive a refund for any untapped kegs of beer.

Decorations

As an added convenience, you may decorate the day prior to your event if it is not being used. All decorating and deliveries must be coordinated with us to ensure our personnel will be on premise. All decorations must be removed at the end of the event.

Occupancy

Kraras Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests with a dance floor and 300 without a dance floor.

Traveling South on Lancaster Avenue (from Reading) turn right onto Hancock Blvd. at Tom Masano onto East Wyomissing Avenue, proceed approximately 1.5 miles to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (Past Berks Catholic High School), turn right onto Parkside Drive South and then turn left into the Hall parking lot.
